FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS AND GAS EMERGENCIES

OSU-FST

This course features essential knowledge and skills for handling flammable gas incidents in transportation or at fixed facilities. The 12-hour training includes eight hours of classroom, followed by four hours of live burn instruction. The course is recommended to emergency responders in public safety and industry. This will include Live Burn Evaluation.

This class is limited to Carter County Fire Departments.

Requirements:

Completed and Signed Live Fire Training Verification Form
(Preferred Hazardous Materials Operations)
Full PPE and SCBA with spare cylinder (current hydrostatic test)

Completion of the full 12-hour program will merit a "Flammable Gas Emergencies: Operational Level" certificate.
